Physicians Associate

We are a large friendly rural teaching practice based in Powys on the Shropshire Borders. We have a large multiskilled primary care and community team with an open approach to developing all our staff in a supportive environment. The safe care of our patients remains our priority while ensuring a good working life for our staff.

We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic, committed Physicians Associate to join our multi disciplinary clinical team . 

You will be comfortable speaking to patients by telephone to answer queries, arrange appointments and review patients. The role would involve speaking to or seeing patients at the request of a GP to outline and establish management plans agreed with the GP. You will be confident to review hospital letters, contact patients and support our pharmacy team in reviewing patients discharged from hospital to ensure there are no outstanding issues, and medication is understood and safe.

Applicants must be registered on the PAMVR and eligible to work in the UK.

Patient Services Assistant - Receptionist/dispenser

Our Patient Services team are central to the coordination of day to day services provided to our patients, as we are looking for new team members who are passionate about customer service, have excellent communication skills, are flexible and adaptable, and have a great sense of humour.

You will enjoy working with the public and have good computer and adminstration skills.

Experience of working in the NHS is not essential, as training will be available for the successful candidate.
